About UsAmilla embodies a philosophy and lifestyle
we are maldivian
We opened our island in 2014, as an independent 5-star luxury resort owned by Maldivians and with experienced hoteliers who desired to create A Naturally Lush Island Paradise. The island scape features far fewer villas and residences, which translates to idyllic, untouched scenery and more space to play, relax and explore.

The Maldives has a hot tropical climate, with plenty of sunshine, high humidity and a constant sea breeze. The temperature generally hovers around 30°C year-round, with night-time lows sometimes of 24°C. The dry season, Northeast Monsoon, is from November to April, while the Southwest Monsoon (May to October) is technically the rainy season, though there are many sunny days.
